Yet Another New State Record Ram!

Further proof of the quality of Texas' bighorn restoration program was provided in January of this year when Stephanie Altimus harvested a new state record ram in the Beech Mountains north of Van Horn, TX. As the pictures below show this ram is truly magnificent in every respect, and also represents the fourth time in just the last five years that the Texas record has been broken. The ram was officially scored at 184 B&C after the mandatory 60 day drying period. Stephanie has promised to write a story for the next issue of our TBS "Bighorn" magazine so you will be able to get all the details there, but for now congratulations are in order for this spectacular animal and one incredible huntress!
